Hell Melody
A downloadable game
You play as Orpheus, a character in Greek Mythology known for his exemplary skills with the lyre. You are on a quest to defeat the lord of the Underworld, Hades. In order to reach Hades, you must travel through the Underworld, fighting lost spirits.
Controls:
WASD TO MOVE
HOLD LEFT MOUSE BUTTON TO SHOOT
SHIFT TO DASH
F TO ACTIVATE SWIRLYING SYMPHONY
STUN NOTE WITH RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON
FULLSCREEN WITH ENTER
Hell Melody is a small scale indie game that was created as a school project for Digital Game Development 1. We were inspired by stories of Orpheus from Greek Mythology and mechanics from Undertale. This game was made over the course of around 4-5 months. Due to the very positive feedback received, we have decided to publish the game. Feedback is greatly appreciated. You may need to install Gamemaker Assets and agree to Gamemaker's license agreement in order to run the game.
Also please ignore the Windows Defender popup. It's not a virus I SWEAR. (You can play the browser version if you don't want to download it though)
